Childcare at EACR 2026

Free onsite childcare for children aged 4 weeks – 14 years old will be available to participants at EACR 2026, thanks to a generous grant from the Budapest MICE Fund. For compliance reasons we are pleased to confirm that this provision is fully independent of pharmaceutical and MedTech industry funding.

The childcare, provided by Double Daycare, will be available onsite at the convention centre with a range of toys and activities appropriate to the age of the children. 

Important note: Parents and carers are responsible for taking children out of the Congress venue for lunch and fresh air each day - please note that for safety and insurance reasons children are not permitted anywhere in the venue outside of the designated childcare area (or when travelling directly to and from it), so lunch breaks must take place fully off-site.

Pre-booking is required and reservations for childcare can be made through the online booking tool from 22 April 2026 onwards. A reservation link will be posted on this page on 22 April.

Please note:

• You must have registered and paid for the Congress to book a childcare slot.
• There are limited places available and childcare places will be allocated on a first-come first-served basis when booking opens on 22 April 2026.
• Your booking will be made directly with our contracted childcare provider, Double Daycare, and not with the EACR.

More details about the childcare

Our contracted childcare provider is Double Daycare. They offer activities appropriate to the age of the children such as painting, arts & crafts, music & movement, board games, story time, lego, group games, physical activities and dramatic play.

Registered participants will be able to book childcare places from 22 April 2026 onwards using the link that will be provided on this page.

• Childcare is available for children aged 4 weeks to 14 years old with a staff ratio of 1:5. 
• Parents and carers are responsible for taking children out of the Congress venue for lunch and fresh air each day - please note that children are not permitted anywhere in the venue outside of the designated childcare area (or when travelling directly to and from it), so lunch breaks must take place fully off-site.
• Water and healthy snacks are provided throughout the day.
• Medication cannot be administered by the childcare staff or management.
• For babies there is a separate safe space in the childcare room. Please bring diapers, wipes, baby food/bottles and a change of clothes.
• Beds and bedding are available for children who need a nap.
